Another weekend is over… Another weekend that I did not accomplish as much as I would’ve liked. However, at least I am back to accomplishing something. There was a while there that weekends ended the same way they began. I am looking forward to having the old me back.
New Job and New Girl= awesomeness
Here I am a few minutes before going to try and get some rest and I have found myself recapping the weekend. I have built myself this massive “honey-do” list and I don’t seem to be making much progress. This weekend was nice though. I didn’t really do much laying around. I ran a few miles both Friday and Saturday. I did my homework for the week, although I didn’t get much reading done today and I will regret it. Today I washed my car, changed the pulleys on my garage door and sat and drank coffee with a friend at Starbucks. Actually today was the second day of coffee. Another friend and I sat at the Starbucks downtown for a while yesterday afternoon. It was nice. Down there you can people watch all day. Especially with the last of the tourist and the ever present SCAD students. There are always sights to see. SCAD is the Savannah College of Art and Design and they own about half the downtown portion of Savannah. There are I’m sure a lot of smart individuals attending, but mostly all you ever notice are the freaks. The things people do to their bodies. We saw this young man, maybe 21, with the huge hoops in his ears. The ones that create this huge hole in your ear. I wonder what he will tell himself when his ears are resting on his shoulder when he turns 70… But back to the weekend.. Last night I went over to a friend’s place, had dinner and played cards. Phase 10, ever heard of it? I hadn’t till late last year I was over there trolling through my latest relationship disaster. I know, common theme for me. But the card game is a lot of fun. I imagine you can pick it up at Target or Walmart. Give it a whack sometime. Well, I should be getting ready for nite nite time. Talk at ya’ll later! ~~~K
